Airport

Work on a £24m dual-carriageway between Maydown and the City of Derry Airport will begin today.

The work on the stretch of road, known as the A2, will take about 18-months to complete.

Once completed the new road should reduce journey times between Londonderry and Limavady.

Regional Development Minister Conor Murphy said the road would reduce journey times and assist in the economic development of the region.
