Hit-and-run victim still serious

Don Campbell

A man in his 50s who was seriously injured in a hit-and-run incident in Londonderry on Friday is still in intensive care in Altnagelvin hospital.

Don Campbell from Ballymagroarty was found lying in the car park of Ballyarnett Country Park.

A spokesperson from the PSNI said Mr Campbell left home on foot at about 1600 BST and was found in the park shortly after 1930 BST.

The PSNI have renewed their appeal for information.
