Post Office staff escaped unhurt when a shot was fired during a robbery in County Tyrone.

Police said a masked gang, one armed with a handgun, raided the premises at Dungannon Road, Coalisland, shortly after 1100 GMT on Tuesday.

The men escaped with a large sum of money in a silver car which had its registrations plates removed.

Detectives would like to hear from anyone with information or who witnessed the incident.
