Woman, 44, held over Newry murder

The man's body was found in a laneway at Upper Edward Street

A 44-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice by police investigating a murder in Newry.

Marek Muszynski, 40, was found dead in a laneway at Upper Edward Street at about 0035 BST on Tuesday 7 July.

Four people are now in custody charged in connection with Mr Muszynski's death.

His body was found on a pathway behind the city's swimming pool.
