Teen bitten and robbed by youths

Policeman's back

An 18-year-old man has been assaulted and robbed by five youths in west Belfast.

The attack happened at Finaghy Road North at about 0230 GMT on Monday.

The teenager, who sustained injuries to his head and a hand, was also bitten on his face.

The gang of five youths made off with his mp3 player and hat. Police have appealed for anyone who has information about the attack to contact them.
