Arsonists blamed for city blaze

A fire at a block of flats in Lisburn is believed by police to have been started by arsonists.

One man was taken to hospital after the blaze broke out at Chapel Hill Mews at about 2000 GMT on Monday.

Two other people were treated at the scene for the effects of smoke inhalation.

A Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson said significant smoke damage was caused to the buildings. Police have appealed for information.
