Elderly people have been targeted in two robberies in the Greater Belfast area, police have said.
Three men entered the home of a woman aged in her 70s in Swanston Crescent, Glengormley, and ransacked it.
The gang told her to stay in the living room while they searched her home. It is not known if anything was taken.
Meanwhile, a man claiming to be from a utility company stole money from an elderly couple in the Symons Street area of south Belfast.
It was reported, on Monday evening, that a man posing as a 'water service' worker entered the home of a woman aged in her 70s and a man aged in his 80s.
After he left they discovered cash had been taken.
It is thought that the incident took place at about 1530 GMT on Monday and that a silver car was used.
The incident in Glengormley happed at about 1930 GMT on Monday.
Police have appealed for anyone with information about either incident to contact them.
