Four children and two adults have been injured in a three-vehicle road crash in Saintfield, County Down.

The collision involved two cars and a tractor. It happened on Sunday afternoon on the Belfast Road, close to the junction with Lessans Road.

A police spokeswoman said the four children and two adults were taken to hospital for examination.

"Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening," she said.
