Man shot during road robbery

Enniskillen

A man has been robbed and shot after being forced from his car at gunpoint outside Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, the police have said.

He was driving along Swanlinbar Road on Friday night when his path was blocked by another vehicle. A gunman threatened him and demanded money.

The man handed over a significant amount of money and was then shot in the leg.

Police said that the man's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
