Cash stolen in raid at bookmakers

Two masked men have stolen a sum of cash in an armed robbery at a bookmakers in west Belfast.

The men, one of whom was carrying a firearm, entered the premises on the Springfield Road at about 2000 GMT on Tuesday.

The weapon was pointed at staff, before the men made off with a sum of money.

Police have appealed for information in relation to the robbery. The robbers were described as wearing dark clothing and balaclavas.
