Man, 59, killed in road accident

A 59-year-old man from County Fermanagh has died following a road accident in County Monaghan.

Michael Manley, from the Roslea area, was the driver of a van which was in collision with a lorry on the main road between Clones and Monaghan.

The accident happened shortly before 1200 GMT on Tuesday.

The driver of the lorry and a passenger were treated for shock at Cavan General Hospital.
