Police seize £35,000 of cannabis

Police

Cannabis resin with an estimated street value of £35,000 has been seized in Londonderry.

The police recovered seven kilos of the drug in the Cornshell Fields area of the city on Friday morning.

They have said they are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area over the past week.

The police can be contacted at Strand Road PSNI station on 0845 600 8000 or anonymously through Crimestoppers.
