A pensioner involved in a road accident in County Down earlier this month has died in hospital.

The 74-year-old woman was one of four people injured when two cars were in collision on the Belfast Road in Newry on 5 October.

Police have renewed their appeal for information and have called for motorists in the area at the time to contact them.

Detectives are continuing to question a man about the incident.
