A woman whose car was hijacked in Belfast has said she is shocked that other motorists who witnessed the incident did not stop to help her.
It happened on the busy Lisburn Road in the south of the city at about 2000 BST on Tuesday.
Debbie O'Brien, 26, was sitting in traffic when a man got out of the car in front and opened her door.
He then struggled with the County Tyrone woman before dragging her from the vehicle and driving off in it.
Despite the large number of cars around her in the traffic, Ms O'Brien said only one couple stopped to help.
"It wasn't even overly dark - it was a busy road and there was a lot of traffic. A lot of people seen it, but nobody stopped," she said.
"For their own safety, I would say to everybody to make sure that they have their car doors locked."
Ms O'Brien was unhurt, but badly shaken. Her silver Volkswagen Golf is still to be found.
The woman who went to her assistance, Susan Phillips, said she was shocked no-one else had stopped.
"I said to my partner 'we have to stop for this girl', she was just left abandoned in the middle of the road, no purse, no anything with her," she said.
"We did what any person would do. I couldn't believe the people that wouldn't stop."
Police investigating the incident have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
