Toddler killed in road accident

Van

Police have released the name of the two-year-old girl who died after being struck by a van in Newry.

Tatyana Jinga, from Belfast, was taken to hospital after the accident on Hill Street, but died shortly afterwards.

It is understood her family is originally from Zimbabwe.

Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the accident, which took place shortly after 1800 BST on Saturday, to contact them.
