Man dies after city stab attack

A 30-year-old man has died following a stabbing in the Summerhill area of Twinbrook in west Belfast.

The incident happened at about 0240 BST on Saturday. The man was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital.

Police were called to the scene and have since cordoned off two streets.

About 20 officers are carrying out forensic examinations centred on a house in Summerhill Drive, off the Summerhill Road in Twinbrook.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them at Lisburn on 0845 6008000.
