Armed, masked gang robs bookies

A masked gang armed with a golf club, a hammer, a knife and a sword have robbed a bookmaker's in west Belfast.

The robbery at the shop on the Falls Road was reported to police at about 1830 BST on Saturday.

A glass partition was smashed and cash stolen from the till. There were no reports of any injuries.

Detectives have appealed for anyone who witnessed the robbery or has any information about it to contact them.
