Man questioned over baby's murder

Royal Hospital

A 24-year-old man has been arrested and is being questioned about the murder of a baby boy.

The 14-week-old child was initially taken to Antrim Area Hospital with a number of injuries on Thursday.

He was then transferred to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, where he died on Saturday.

It is believed the baby was from the New Mossley estate in Newtownabbey. His name has not yet been released by the police.
