Gas explosion on housing estate

A late-night gas explosion has been reported on a housing estate in the Lisburn city area.

The incident took place in Twinbrook about eight miles from Belfast city centre.

First reports indicated that the explosion took place at a caravan in the Juniper Rise area of the estate.

The explosion occurred at around 2340 BST on Wednesday. It was not immediately known if there were injuries.
