A County Londonderry man has been charged with handling stolen vehicles and money laundering.

A police spokesman said it is part of an investigation into the theft of vehicles from England and their movement to Northern Ireland.

The man faces four counts of handling stolen vehicles and four counts of money laundering.

The 27-year-old, who is from Eglinton, is due to appear in Londonderry Magistrates Court on Thursday.

A 37-year-old Coleraine man has already been charged with four offences as part of the investigation.
