Glue ban for burglary accused

Court graphic

A Belfast man accused of breaking into a woman's home as she slept has been released on bail, but banned from sniffing glue.

38-year-old William Gallagher, of Belvoir Street, was found near the woman's east Belfast house in June.

Although he was charged, the woman failed to pick him out at a police identification parade.

He was granted bail of £1,000, but banned from glue sniffing, drinking in public and entering licensed premises.
