Security alerts declared hoaxes

The area around the house has been cordoned off

Two security alerts, one at a house in Ballynahinch and another in north Belfast, have been declared hoaxes.

The Army were called to examine a suspicious object in North Howard Street in Belfast shortly after 0600 BST on Thursday.

In Ballynahinch the Piney Hill area was cordoned off while an operation took place.

North Howard Street, Cupar Way and Conway Street in Belfast have since been reopened.
