Name release after holiday death

The woman from County Armagh who was killed in a road traffic accident in Tenerife was Molly Grimley.

She was 78 and from Portadown Road in Armagh City.

According to Spanish newspaper reports Mrs Grimley, who was a wheelchair user, was struck by a car at a pedestrian crossing on Tuesday night.

The pensioner and her two daughters had just left a restaurant when the accident took place in the popular Playa de las Americas resort.

Spanish police said the driver of the car was over the legal alcohol limit and has a criminal record.
