A train travelling from Dublin to Cork has been derailed in County Kildare.
It struck debris which poured onto the track following a landslide in the Monasterevin area.
All services to Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Galway and Westport have been cancelled as a result.
None of the 300 people on board are understood to have been injured. However, the driver had to be treated for shock.
A number of windows in the front carriage were smashed.
The derailed train was the 11am service from Dublin to Cork. Passengers are being bussed to their destinations.
