Two dissident suspects released

Two men arrested during police searches in south and west Belfast on Thursday have been released without charge.

Police said the operation was part of an investigation into dissident republican activity.

Two men arrested on Wednesday in an operation targeting dissidents have also been released without charge.

Searches were carried out in the Enniskillen and Irvinestown areas of County Fermanagh and Drumquin in County Tyrone.

Some items were seized for further examination.

The searches were carried out by detectives from the PSNI Crime Operations Department.
