Three men have been arrested in the west Belfast area, in what police have said was an operation against serious crime.

The arrests were made in Poleglass on Wednesday afternoon by the PSNI anti-extortion unit.

The operation was set up after a businessman was allegedly the subject of threats.

A number of police Land Rovers were sent to a shop on the Stewartstown Road which was cordoned off for a time.
