Gay comment inaccurate - Robinson
DUP MP Iris Robinson has said her views on homosexuality may have been misrepresented in an official report.
Hansard reported her as saying that "there can be no viler act, apart from homosexuality, than sexually abusing innocent children."
Mrs Robinson said at no stage did she set out to suggest that homosexuality was worse than child abuse.
A Hansard official said after checking audio recordings, she was satisfied the comments were reported accurately.
The report was a transcript of a Northern Ireland Grand Committee meeting last month which discussed risk assessment and management of sex offenders.
Alliance's Naomi Long said the comments showed a "lack of responsibility".
She said they were both inflammatory and extremely dangerous.
