Christian bookshop staff targeted

Police

Staff have been threatened during robberies at two Christian bookshops in Belfast.

A man entered a shop in Queen Street at about 1300 BST and forced them to hand over cash.

A short time earlier, a man demanded money from employees at another Christian bookshop at nearby Chapel Lane, but left empty-handed.

One man has been arrested and is being questioned by detectives. Police have appealed for information.
