Four police officers had to be treated for injuries.

One man, who is 26, has been charged with assaulting a police officer, riotous behaviour and resisting arrest.

The other man, 19, was charged with assault of police, disorderly behaviour, possession of an offensive weapon, possession of class C drugs and resisting police.

They will appear at Craigavon Magistrates Court on 18 July and 7 August respectively.

In all, 13 police officers were injured when paint, petrol bombs, stones and fireworks were thrown in the Obins Street area.
