Man remanded over Belfast murder

Murder scene

A 28-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man in south Belfast.

Shane Cunningham, 39, was found dead at a house in Woodbreda Park on Tuesday. Neil Wilson, of Orchard Mews in Belfast, denied murder.

Newtownards Magistrates Court was told he admitted being involved in "an altercation" at the house where Mr Cunningham died.

Mr Wilson was remanded in custody and will appear in court again next month.

Mr Cunningham, a stonemason, lived at Rossdale Gardens in the Four Winds area of the city.
