A farmer who kept turkeys in appalling conditions has been given a suspended jail sentence and banned for life from keeping animals.
Wesley Withers' farm at Corkley Road in Keady was searched in December 2006.
On Monday, Withers was given a three-month suspended sentence at Armagh Magistrates Court for causing unnecessary suffering to livestock.
A number of other animals, including calves, pigs and geese were also seized at the farm.
Welcoming the sentence, the USPCA said it hoped it would serve as a deterrent to anybody who would neglect livestock.
