Police

Two armed robbers threatened to shoot shop workers who were locking up the premises for the night.

The staff were forced back inside the shop on Alliance Avenue in north Belfast.

It happened at about 2130 BST on Wednesday but details of the robbery have only just been released.

After threatening the workers, the robbers escaped with cash. Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
