Rock legends The Police are to hold an open-air concert at Stormont this summer.
One of the world's top bands in the 1980s, The Police reformed last year. The Stormont gig is being billed as their last ever appearance in Ireland.
First Minister Ian Paisley said the announcement was a "fantastic coup" for Northern Ireland.
"An event of this magnitude has a sizeable benefit for the economy, not least our tourism industry," he said.
Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness said: "It is hoped that we will be able to accommodate some 35,000 fans at Stormont for the concert.
"I look forward to attending what I am sure will be an enjoyable show."
Tickets for the concert on 20 June are to go on sale soon and could cost up to £70.
The band is following the likes of Pavarotti, Elton John, Rod Stewart and the Eagles in performing at the venue.
However, there have been no concerts there in the last two years.
The Police - bassist/lead vocalist Sting, guitarist Andy Summers, and drummer Stewart Copeland - were formed in 1977.
Their 1983 album, Synchronicity, was number one in the UK and the US. They have sold more than 50m records worldwide.
The band split up in 1986.
