Teens refused bail in arson case

scales Two neighbours from Limavady have appeared in court accused of arson with intent to endanger life.

Stuart Hutchinson, 19, and Ashley Ian Barnes, 18, both of Irwin Avenue, were refused bail on Saturday at Londonderry Magistrates Court.

The attack is alleged to have happened at Coolessan Walk in Limavady on Thursday.

The judge said there was a substantial risk the defendants might interfere with witnesses. The case was adjourned.
