New DUP minister to be announced

Ian Paisley Jnr  Assembly members are expected to be informed later about the appointment of a new DUP junior minister in the Stormont executive.

The new minister will replace Ian Paisley Junior, who announced his intention to resign last week.

Mr Paisley's announcement came after a series of stories about his constituency office arrangements and lobbying activity.

He will remain in the assembly as MLA for North Antrim.
