New DUP minister to be announced
Assembly members are expected to be informed later about the appointment of a new DUP junior minister in the Stormont executive.
The new minister will replace Ian Paisley Junior, who announced his intention to resign last week.
Mr Paisley's announcement came after a series of stories about his constituency office arrangements and lobbying activity.
He will remain in the assembly as MLA for North Antrim.
