PSNI catch 600 in drink dragnet
Two off-duty police officers were among drivers caught drink-driving over the Christmas period, the PSNI has said.
The pair were among more than 600 motorists caught drink-driving over the Christmas period, according to figures just released.
Assistant chief constable Roy Toner said that if prosecuted, the officers were likely to lose their jobs.
The worst area for drink-driving was Fermanagh South Tyrone with one in four of those stopped over the limit.
