Police have released the name of the 33-year-old woman who died in a fire at a flat in Downpatrick on Tuesday evening.
On Wednesday, police said they were no longer treating the Oriel Drive blaze in which Lorraine Smyth died as suspicious.
A man, who also lived in the flat, escaped and was treated in hospital for the effects of breathing in smoke.
Neighbours tried to rescue Ms Smyth but were beaten back by smoke.
"We immediately sent firefighters in wearing breathing apparatus with hose reel jets," said fire station commander Brian Irvine.
"They searched the flat and worked very hard to try and do what they could to try and save this lady but unfortunately she passed away a short time later in hospital."
