Pair bailed after trouble in city

Police cordon Two men arrested in connection with trouble in the Market's area of Belfast have been released on bail.

Two people were stabbed during the disturbances early on Friday, which, at one stage, involved up to 30 people.

One man was critically injured but his condition improved overnight and he is said to be seriously ill in the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.

Another man who was stabbed remains in a stable condition in hospital. Police have carried out searches at the scene.
