Belfast man dies in Thai resort

A baht taxi A man from Belfast has died while on holiday in Thailand, the Foreign Office has confirmed.

Mark Morrison, 40, from Manna Grove in the east of the city, was killed in a road accident in the resort of Pattaya in the early hours of Thursday.

Mr Morrison died after falling off the back of a three-wheeled baht taxi.

He suffered head injuries and is thought to have died at the scene. It is understood Mr Morrison was due to return home on Friday.
