Man in hospital after gun attack

Back of police officer A 21-year-old man has been injured in a gun attack in County Tyrone.

He was wounded in an arm and both legs in the incident at a house in St Colman's Drive in the Ballycolman Estate, Strabane.

An ambulance crew was called to the house in the town at about 2130 BST on Tuesday.

The man was taken to Altnagelvin Hospital in Londonderry. The police have appealed for information.
