Inquiry into rally track accident

The car went off course at the rally An investigation has been launched into the cause of an accident at a County Armagh rally track in which seven people were hurt.

One man was seriously injured after a rally car veered off the course in heavy rain and into spectators at Lurgan Park.

The accident happened at 1640 BST on Saturday afternoon.

Four people were treated in hospital. Some suffered chest and back injuries. A 12-year-old boy has a head injury.
