Men 'made internet suicide pact'

The men's bodies were found at Gortin lake Two men whose bodies were found at Gortin lakes in County Tyrone had made a suicide pact after meeting on the internet, according to a local priest.

Barry McGlade, 20, from Brook Valley in Omagh and Nicolas Jamieson, 24, from Dublin were last seen on Saturday.

Their bodies were found at Gortin Lakes on Tuesday afternoon following an operation by an underwater search team.

Father Neil Farren, who gave the Last Rites, said the men's families received letters about what they had done.

"The letters said what they were doing, that there would be identification on the bodies of who they were, and the location of where they would find the bodies," he said.

"The police had the bodies on the path beside the lake, near the spot where the two boys had gone into the water."
