Man attacked with bottle in park

Police are looking for a man who attacked another man with a bottle and a brick in a south Belfast park.

It happened just before lunchtime on Saturday at Lady Dixon Park.

The victim was treated in hospital for cuts to his head. Earlier there were reports of gangs of youths drinking and causing trouble in the park.

Meanwhile, police in Lisburn have appealed for information after a pregnant woman in her 20s was punched in the stomach in Sloan Street.

The incident took place at about 1630 BST on Friday afternoon. The woman was later taken to hospital.
