Man charged over ramming incident

A man has been charged in connection with an incident which saw two police cars rammed near Enniskillen in County Fermanagh early on Wednesday morning.

A van rammed the police cars in the Blaney area. Two police officers were injured during the incident, but their injuries are not thought to be serious.

A 21-year-old man has been charged with criminal damage endangering life and a number of motoring offences.

He is expected to appear in Strabane Magistrates Court on Thursday.
