Motorcycle accident victim named

Police have named the motorcyclist who died following a road accident on the County Antrim coast.

The man has been named as 47-year-old John Jenkins from Hillhall Park in Lisburn.

The crash happened on the Coast Road between Waterfoot and Carnlough shortly before 1400 BST on Thursday.

Police have appealed for witnesses and want to hear from the driver of a blue Transit van that was travelling in the direction of Larne at the time.
