Woman is injured in 4x4 collision

A woman in her 20s has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries following a car accident outside Dungannon, County Tyrone.

The car she was a passenger in was in a collision with a 4x4 at 0430 BST on Sunday on Ballygawley Road near its junction with Aughnagar Road.

Two men, also in their 20s who were in the car with her, and the driver of the other vehicle, were taken to hospital.

Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The Ballygawley Road will remain closed until about 1000 BST between the junction with Aughnagar Road and Ballygawley roundabout.
