NI roads claim third victim


A man killed in an accident in County Tyrone is the third victim of Northern Ireland's roads over the weekend.

Sean McIvor, 25, of Kylemore Court, Omagh, was killed when the lorry he was driving overturned on the Carnteel Road outside Dungannon at about 2000 BST on Sunday.

There were no other vehicles involved in the accident.

Meanwhile, a 23-year-old man died in a road accident in County Antrim.

Appeal

His motorbike hit a wall at Glenmanus Road in Portrush shortly before 0700 BST on Sunday.

Earlier on Sunday, another 23-year-old man died after he was involved in an accident in Coleraine in County Londonderry.

The accident happened shortly before 0300 BST on Sunday when the man was walking on the Ballycastle Road.

He was taken to hospital in a critical condition and died later from his injuries.

The police have appealed to anyone who witnessed any of the accidents to contact them.
