Police step up sex attack inquiry

Extra police will be patrolling a Wiltshire town this weekend in an effort to glean more information about a sex attack on a woman a week ago.

The 25-year-old was attacked at about midnight on Sunday 21 December in the Bond Street area of Trowbridge.

She described her attacker as a scrawny and scruffy man with a pointy nose and turn-up collar.

Officers will be asking people whether they were in the area at the time and remember seeing anything suspicious.
