Two charged after police stop car

Two men have been charged with drugs offences after police stopped a car travelling on a motorway in Wiltshire.

Police used number plate recognition technology to stop a Volkswagen Polo near the Leigh Delamere services on Wednesday.

Class A drugs believed to be worth at least £15,000 were found inside, police said.

Two men aged 19 and 35, from Cardiff, have been charged with possession of drugs with intent to supply.

Magistrates in Chippenham remanded the pair in custody to appear at Swindon Crown Court at a later date.
