Coach held over threats to kill

Ady Williams

Swindon Town reserve team coach Ady Williams was arrested and bailed on suspicion of assault and making threats to kill.

Police confirmed the 37-year-old was held in custody following his arrest in the Old Town area of Swindon.

A club spokesman said: "The directors and senior management of STFC are aware of the potential legal proceedings in respect of Ady Williams."

Mr Williams has been bailed pending further enquiries until 7 December.
